Jawaharla Nehru University (JNU) conducts a Combined Entance Examination (CEE) for admission to Two-Year M.Sc. Programme in Biotechnology for all the participating Universities namely:
The Enrance Examination usually helds at nearly 30 centers spread all over the country during Last week of May.
Eligibility:
Bachelor Degree under 10+2+3 pattern of education in Physical , Biological, Agricultural, Veterinary, and Fishery Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering /Technology, 4 years B.S.(Physian Assistant) course; OR Medicine (MBBS) OR BDS with at least 55% marks.
Course Outline For Entrance
Examination:
The Question Paper for Entrance Examination will be divided into two main parts
PART A will have question at the level of 10+2 level carrying a total 50% marks. This part is subdivided into sections I, II, III. While Section -I will have question from physics and chemistry and must be answered by all candidates, section II will have question from Mathematics and section III will have questions from Biology.Students have option to answer question from either section II or Section III
PART B carrying the remaining 50 % marks will cover questions upto Bachelor's level from all or some of the areas indicated below
Physics, chemistry,Mathematics, Biology(both palnt and animal), Biochemistry and other related disciplines. There could be a posibility of change in the pattern and designing of the question paper.

Selection Procedure:
Selection will depend upon merit of candidate in the entrance test. Candidates selected for admission will be indicated by the concerned university.
